Fat Fish are 'SPEWING UP MICE' as plague worsens across NSW
As the mice plague continues to ravage New South Wales, there’s concern that the poisons meant to stop them are actually killing other wildlife.
Video posted by an ABC reporter shows a Murray Cod with several dead mice in its stomach, amid fears about possible poison impacts on native fish.
Rebekah Ward and her three sons have lost their home after rodents chewed through electrical lines, with Ms Ward saying that she did not have insurance.
"We need more help out here," she told Today.
The story has now made international headlines, with Britain's The Sun yesterday reporting on calls for the plague to be declared an official "natural disaster" by authorities.
