RAW VISION: Pepper spray used on anti-lockdown protesters in Melbourne CBD
Pepper spray has been deployed by Victoria Police after an anti-lockdown protest in Melbourne's CBD.
Several dozen people chanted "freedom" hours after the state's SIXTH lockdown come into effect, following 6 new locally-acquired COVID-19 cases overnight.
Video posted to Facebook shows the moment authorities used pepper spray on the protesters, with reports of several arrests.
"Nazi f**kers," one man was heard shouting.
"The smartest thing would be to ignore them and let them make their way home," the person filming the video commented.
"But I don't think that's gonna happen."
