Channel 7 CAUGHT using the same 'live shot' twice in the space of 1 hour

Updated: Jan 4, 2022

The footage aired on the Friday morning broadcast of 'Sunrise.'

Channel 7 has been caught using the exact same footage as a "live shot" twice in the space of 1 hour during 'Sunrise' on Friday.

Co-presenter David Koch introduced the footage of Melbourne's Yarra River as a "live look at the Yarra" at 7:02am, while reporting on weather conditions across Australia.

59 minutes later, at 8:01am, Koch again introduced the "live look at the Yarra" - with the exact same footage being shown.

Both times, graphics stating it was 'live' were shown.

The footage also shows the same person jogging past at the bottom of the screen.
