FULL INTERVIEW: Trans athlete Kirsti Miller speaks out about Liberal candidate Katherine Deves

Miller revealed one of her friends "reverted back to living as a man" because of fears.

Transgender rights advocate & athlete Kirsti Miller has vowed to sue Liberal candidate Katherine Deves over alleged vilification, amid controversy surrounding her selection & previous comments about the trans community.


Ms Miller has told 6 News that she still wants to see Deves run to "see the electorate of Warringah not even vote for her."


She also said that she's "disappointed with Labor" but believes she hasn't been let down by The Greens.


Miller also revealed that one of her friends has "reverted back to living to a man" because of fears amid the controversy surrounding Liberal candidate Katherine Deves.


"She was so scared yesterday, that she's reverted back to living to a man today...because she's too scared to go out of her house in Sydney as a woman."

"This thing is killing Australians, killing the most vulnerable Australians."
