It was the first of possibly several debates that Scott Morrison and Anthony Albanese will face off in.
Last night, both leaders were questioned by 100 undecided voters at The Gabba in Brisbane, in a televised 'people's forum' aired on Sky News.
The leader that took the cake, according to the audience, was Anthony Albanese.
40 votes went his way, 35 to Morrison and 25 were still unsure.
Last night didn't come without controversy - Scott Morrison today saying he was "deeply sorry" for saying he was "blessed" not to have children with a disability.
The PM also pushed Albanese on boat turnbacks.
Afterwards, a poll conducted by the Courier Mail said Scott Morrison won by a landslide, although Sky News' vote was different.
Both leaders couldn't afford to make a mistake, following a week of gaffes from both.
This will likely give Albanese more wind in his sail, but may not damage or hurt Mr Morrison much, with him only losing the audience poll by 5 votes.
This could also possibly show which way voters will lean ahead of the election, which is just a month away.
