Sky News Australia BACK ON YOUTUBE after being suspended for 1 week
Sky News Australia has returned to uploading videos onto their YouTube Channel, 1 week after being suspended for 'COVID-19 misinformation.'
The broadcaster was given a strike - which prevents them from posting - because of a number of videos that were deemed to be in violation of YouTube's policies.
On Sunday, a YouTube spokesperson told 6 News that they "don’t allow content that denies the existence of COVID-19 or that encourages people to use Hydroxychloroquine or Ivermectin to treat or prevent the virus."
This week, all of Sky's so-called "after dark" presenters - including Peta Credlin, Andrew Bolt & Alan Jones - have heavily criticised the move, mainly focusing on the fact that YouTube is a US-based company.
