Police confirm inquiries are continuing as they appeal for information in desperate search

Updated: Mar 9, 2022

On Wednesday (9 December 2021) news.com.au reported that Detectives were investigating the possibility of a ‘drug debt’ in the search for missing tradie Logan Losurdo.

On Thursday NSW Police confirmed to 6 News that "Detectives from Tuggerah Lakes Police District continue to conduct extensive inquiries in relation to the whereabouts of Logan Losurdo under Strike Force McConnell."

It comes as the Tuggerah Lakes man remains missing since disappearing almost three weeks ago. Police haven't revealed any other lines of inquiry following the release of CCTV photos depicting a white sedan and a man who Investigators believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

Friends of Mr Losurdo remain hopeful that he will be found in a matter of time. Theories have circulated he may have become injured whilst walking home along Pebble Beach Avenue, Magenta.

The rescue drone playing an audio message on loop, "Loges, it’s Gershy, the boys are on our way mate, we’re coming to find ya,” one of Mr Losurdo's mates says.

Logan Losurdo was last seen walking along Pebble Beach Avenue last Thursday, and when he failed to appear for work, concerns for his welfare were raised.

Police are continuing to appeal for anyone who may have dashcam footage or CCTV from Wilfred Barrett Drive, Hutton Road or Stewart Streets between 12.30am and 6am on Friday 26 November to contact Wyong Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
