WATCH: No journalists show up to press conference from Shadow Treasurer Angus Taylor

Taylor was reacting to today's interest rate decision.

Angus Taylor held his first press conference as Shadow Treasurer today - but according to reports, no journalists showed up.

At the end of the 2-minute press conference aired on the ABC News Channel, Taylor asked said he was "happy to take questions" - and was met with silence.

SBS News reporter Naveen Razik tweeted that "no journalists showed up."

Taylor was reacting to today's interest rate decision from the Reserve Bank of Australia.

They today raised the official cash rate to 0.85% - an increase of 50 basis points.
