Albanese back home, media coverage slammed - and more teal independents in Victoria?

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is tonight back in Australia after a meeting of The Quad in Tokyo - his first major act as the new leader.


The new PM met with US President Joe Biden, Japanese PM Fumio Kishida and Indian PM Narendra Modi.


Results continue to come in a number of key seats where the race is too close to call.


In addition to their significant gains, Labor lost a number of seats - as the Greens & independents claim victory in seats across the nation.


Now, there are reports that we could see teal independents run in the Victorian state election in November - possibly including the seats of Hawthorn (part of the federal Kooyong electorate), Kew & Brighton (part of the federal Kooyong & Goldstein electorates respectively).
